Atlanta Braves와의 첫번째 봄 연습게임에서
Justin Verlander는 볼넷 2개를 내주기는 했지만 2이닝동안 타자 8명을 상대하며 무실점으로 막았습니다.
한편 Gary Sheffield는 지난날 연습때 팔꿈치에 공을 맞아서 결장했습니다. 심하지 않은 것으로 보입니다.
새내기 유망주들도 다수가 얼굴을 내밀었는데 결과만 보면 썩 마음에 들지는 않네요.

감독 Jim Leyland는 Jeff Larish와 Ryan Raburn을 로스터의 한 자리를 걸고 경쟁시키겠다고 언급했다는군요.

탈락시키기에는 레이번이 너무 아까운데 말이죠.

Sheffield was hit on the left elbow by a pitch yesterday. "I'm fine," he said. "It's just stiff. I could play if I had to, but it's better to just let the swelling go down."

역시 인지가 8번 에버렛이 9번으로 갈 생각인가보군요. 암만 봐도 에버렛의 안습 장타율을 생각해보면 9번 타석이 좋을걸로 생각했는데 말이죠.

Marcus Thames, Ramon Santiago and Matt Treanor are guaranteed jobs. It looks like Brent Clevlen and Mike Hessman have already been pretty much ruled out. Working in Raburn's favor is that he's the lone option to back up Curtis Granderson in center field. That'll probably be enough to get him the job, especially since Larish would likely benefit from contuing to play regularly in Triple-A.

탈락시키기에는 레이번이 너무 아까운데 말이죠.
다시 한 번 말하지만, 나라면 인지를 유격수 컨버젼시키고 3루에 레이번 박아넣었을거라고오오오 -o-
